The custom MID is a Mobile Internet Device which is made on the basis of standard development platforms under concrete specific customer requirements. Mobile Internet Device is a variation of the UMPC concept. In addition to standard off-the-shelf systems, InHand also offers custom systems to clients whose needs cannot be met by standard solutions. For custom MID, InHand's products are used as a starting point for full customer system. Custom MID projects include major modifications to standard products.
